HL7027 is a fully integrated switch-mode lithium-ion battery charging chip, featuring power MOSFET, power path management, I²C interface, and USB On-the-Go (OTG) boost functionality. It is used for single or multiple parallel lithium-ion and lithium polymer batteries, suitable for various cellular phones, smartphones, tablets, power banks, and other portable devices. Its switch-mode operation and low-resistance power path maximize charging, discharging, and boost efficiency, reducing battery charging time and extending the battery life during the discharging phase.
HL7027 supports multiple types of input sources, including standard USB host ports, USB charging ports, and high-power AC-DC adapters. It supports input operating voltages from 3.9V to 7V and can power backend systems without a battery. It can adjust to the maximum power output of the input source through Input Dynamic Power Management Control (INDPM).
