Quality Assurance
1. Environmental Systems:
• RoHS Standard
The European Union (EU) adopted the "Restriction of the Use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment" (RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC) to ensure that electrical and electronic equipment placed on the market on or after July 1, 2006, contains no lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs), or polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs). On July 1, 2011, the EU issued Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS 2.0), which entered into force on January 3, 2013. Meanwhile, Directive 2002/95/EC was repealed. All products of Halo Microelectronics comply with the latest RoHS requirements mentioned above.
• REACH
The EU Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH, Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006) provides a crucial regulatory framework for the registration, evaluation, authorization, and restriction of chemical substances in the European market, thereby exerting a significant impact on the procurement and use of chemicals. To ensure reliable delivery, our supply chain must comply with REACH requirements. All products of Halo Microelectronics comply with the relevant requirements for articles under the REACH Regulation.
• Halogen-Free
Since 2009, all products have been manufactured using halogen-free materials (Br ≤ 900ppm, Cl ≤ 900ppm, Cl + Br ≤ 1500ppm). For halogen-free products, the HF logo, along with lead-free and RoHS logos, is added to the packaging labels.
• Directive 2004/12/EC of February 11, 2004, Amending Directive 94/62/EC on Packaging and Packaging Waste
The total content of heavy metals (including lead, cadmium, mercury, and hexavalent chromium) present in packaging or containers shall not exceed 100ppm. All products of Halo Microelectronics comply with the requirements of the aforementioned Directive.
• Conflict Minerals Policy
Halo Microelectronics strives to prohibit the use of "conflict minerals" exported from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and its neighboring countries. Conflict minerals include tungsten, tantalum, tin, gold, cobalt, and mica, which directly or indirectly fund or benefit armed groups that violate citizens' human rights.
Halo Microelectronics requires suppliers to comply with the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct and source materials only from environmentally and socially responsible suppliers. Suppliers must meet the conflict-free mineral requirements and shall not purchase or use conflict minerals.
Suppliers shall only procure metals from smelters and refiners certified by RMAP (the Responsible Minerals Assurance Process), while smelters and refiners without RMAP certification must be removed from the supply chain.
2. Quality System:
Halo Microelectronics has obtained ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification.

Halo Microelectronics has obtained ISO 26262 Functional Safety Process certification
